A brief history
We tried to add up the combined years we have been churches in West London, it has been quite few! For many years Ealing Christian Fellowship has led and supported many community projects including The Walpole Festival and Soul in the City. Bridge Church in Brentford has also significantly contributed to children’s and youth work with particular fond memories of it’s five Big Events in St Paul’s park that attracted thousands of visitors each year.
Why a new church?
Following a significant church week-end away together in August 2005, the church leadership teams embarked upon a process of prayer, discussion and exploration about a new future together. It was felt the churches could achieve far more together than they could individually. We are also joined by a partner church Latymer Christian Fellowship. If you are an organisation or group and you would like to explore joining us please get in contact through our Bless office team.
What is our shared commitment at Bless?
Our shared commitment includes a heart and love for Jesus, relationships, passion to extend God's kingdom and church, love for mission, for the Bible, for Jesus to meet those who don’t yet know him. It also includes teamwork aiming to be generous and friendly, to influence, to be catalysts for unity, to work together across generations, culture, gender, history and future, to celebrate diversity and freedom not uniformity, to enjoy commitment, fun and a healthy mix of resources between us all. We honour our roots and want to acknowledge all those who have served and prayed faithfully for many years.
