Bless is our attitude

So many things in life are complicated and sometimes they needn’t be! Our vision is simple – to be a blessing and grow in God. To bless those around us a church in Ealing and Brentford.

We aim to be a blessing to each other and to those around us in the UK and overseas. We aim to bless society seeking transformation and positive world change through communities, politics, education, the arts and medicine.

All about blessing

When you read Matthew 5 in the Bible it is clear and simple, it talks about how we are blessed. But we don’t want to keep these blessings for ourselves!

Jesus’ sermon tells us what our attitudes must become and encourages us to be lights of the world. In summary, we mustn’t allow anger to be uncontrolled. We must seek peace, agree with our adversaries quickly, go the extra mile and love our enemy. It tells us how to pray, fast, do charitable deeds, store treasure in heaven, be single minded, exercise faith in trusting in God, seeking Him. Sounds good but like anything, can be easier said than done! So we need God’s help and each other!

We find great inspiration from Jesus. The Bible talks about Jesus being the Son of God, sent by God to the world as a sacrifice for our wrong doings. Our experience is that the story of Jesus Christ is a real and highly relevant one, one which we see continually transforming peoples lives. In brief, if it wasn’t for Jesus, we couldn’t do what we do.
