The Bible talks about family - we all grow up in family. Family breakdown is often blamed for the ills in our society – so what is family, is it really important or just for special occasions?

At Bless, our experience of being part of God's family is quite a cool one. Discovering and learning from other fathers, mothers, aunts, grandmas and brothers is quite an experience. It’s true we can’t choose our parents in life, but we can choose to learn from others as we get older. We respect the wise and encourage the youth.

The Bible gives us great examples on how to ‘do’ family and you’ll find some of that at Bless, extended households, regular Sunday lunches, adoptive aunts and uncles - always ready to encourage and share.
