Our Friends
Look below for some organisations we are affiliated with.
So who are Pioneer? if you have ever been to our church you may have heard of them. Pioneer is an International network of Churches started in 1986 by Gerald Coates which has been going from strength to strength ever since. We, Bless Community Church, are part of this network and some of the leadership team have been part of Pioneer from its beginnings. More recently Pioneer has evolved into a network of networks, if this seems confusing let me lead you onto another one of our friends....
Now, Inspire is a network inside of Pioneer. While Pioneer has been growing with more and more churches joining, it was felt that within this network, groups of church leaders should meet together, to encourage, inspire, facilitate and collaborate among other things. It started as a relaxed gathering of friends and became a group under the banner of Pioneer.
DNA is an 11 month journey of church based discipleship in the context of mission. They aim to develop your understanding, skills and character. They say it will be the "best and hardest year of your life". The Bless leadership team will always have a special soft spot for DNA, because throughout the years many church members have done the course including Linda Ward, although that was back in the day when it was known as Tie Teams. Anyway, over the years many things have changed except the quality of the course. If you can, do it.
As a church we are members of the EA, which is the oldest allience of evangelical christians in the world having been founded in 1846. The Allience promotes unity and truth, and acts as a voice to the state, society and church. It speaks on behalf of it's members and represents evangelical concerns to the government, media and key decision makers.
