History

THEN

Bless has deep roots in central Ealing, dating back to the 1970s when the original renewal group was founded by John and Ann Spencer. This grew into Ealing Christian Fellowship under the leadership of John Spencer, Naz Pambakian and then Ian Brown. In 1991 Bridge Church Brentford was planted by Patrick Dixon, handing over leadership to Linda Ward six years later. When ECF and Bridge merged, in 2006 many more people began to sow their energy and giftings into this community. We are deeply thankful for faithful and visionary leaders and for our inheritance of strong partnerships.

NOW

Bless now extends across a wide area of West London but we remain committed to reaching our local communities through genuine relationship. From Perivale to Isleworth, Greenford to Brentford, Feltham to Pitshanger, Wimbledon to Acton, Southall to Northfields, and Hanwell to Ealing, we want to make Jesus known through our everyday lives, as well as through targeted initiatives. We have also connected meaningfully with communities as far afield as Egypt and DR Congo, partnering in God’s global mission. We are a vibrant and energetic family spanning the generations.
